Not taking up his cause. Just requesting other people’s opinion (and experience) about the issue he’s claiming. Also wondering how low certain regional managements might go to retain people.

Let’s face it, if the long awaited pilot shortage is finally upon us it won’t be the majors that will be affected first or most, it’ll be the regionals. Already some of them are ponying up signing and retention bonuses that were unheard of preCOVID. What else might they do?

Oh, and we need to do something about training pay and first year pay in the next contract, because it sucks…
