Young and eager, she was super excited. As we pulled up I asked her was she there for AA or for an Eagle interview and she said, " Oh....I don't know....is there a difference?" They were opening the door to the van and I said, "yes, big difference, don't have the time to go into the differences now, but trust me if they offer you the choice, your answer is AA"
During the AA interview they would often ask, "would you accept a position at Eagle if you weren't successful in the AA hiring process?" The word on the street at the time was to politely decline, otherwise that's where you'd go.
The insane thing about this industry is, that the 2000 hire at Eagle probably had a better income and job stability than the 2000 hire at AA.
