Had a few friends go through indoc recently. Two were in the same class and one stayed at the Residence Inn, with the other guy bumped to SpringHill Suites (used for overflow); there's also a Fairfield which seems to have been brought into the rotation recently and it's also the F/A training hotel. (I think the RI and FI are crew overnight hotels as well.) There are 15-20 restaurants within walking/short drive distance, plus a Walmart, Sam's Club, and a bunch of other various retail stores. If somebody has a car, the USAF Museum is probably a 15 minute drive and makes for a nice day trip.

I've stayed at both for business and they're both nice in their own ways; RI was recently updated, but the rooms are nice, while the Fairfield is brand new (I watched it being built from the RI in August 2020).
