My wife, who was with Coca Cola for for many years working in marketing and branding commented that the officers working on the bridge of a warship were wearing a uniform that bore no resemblance to the one I wear at work. “Isn’t your uniform based on a navy uniform?” she inquired. I told her it was, but the dress uniform not the one in the movie.
She then said that if they don’t wear the dress uniform to pilot the boat, why do you wear one based on it to pilot the airplane?
