No, they do that routinely. But they have issued only one unanimous written opinion (as far as we know, based on what's recorded)... one guy wrote the opinion and the rest signed it. Typically there will be more than one written opinion, even if they vote the same.

Ok just making sure, there is a common misunderstanding that SCOTUS never votes 9-0, which they do over half the time.
