Wait CLT isn’t a crew base? I was told it was a base by a recruiter. I have a phone screening/interview soon. Don’t really have any desire to go to Republic if I’m gonna have to commute to NY. Is that something I should ask about in the interview?

Also, I saw a previous post about the average FO lines per base. What exactly is a “line”? Is it how many FOs they put in a base? Sorry I’m still kind of new and trying to figure everything out before making the wrong decision. Why are there so many more lines in Columbus and Indiana than Chicago? I’d prefer a commute to Chicago than NY if I can’t be based in CLT. But not sure if that’s possible?
