What that didn’t account for was there were almost no hires for 5 years, so in the first upgrade class after I got there you had a pilot who had waited 5 years and one who had waited 2. Needs to be more in-depth analysis to really use that info tactically.
I got hired at age 23 in late 2007 at a regional with a projected 2-3 year upgrade. I was going to make $100k by 25. I went with Republic but also had an offer at Compass (a start up at the time).
The economic collapse of 2008/2009, age 65 gets implemented and I was still an FO at age 30 making less than $40k. That is why we are called the lost generation and the $36.62 club at Republic. Had I gone with Compass I would have upgraded in a year and flowed to Delta in 3 years.
These charts mean squat! When you are 60 you will know which decisions you made where correct.
Pick a quality of life that allows you to stay married to wife #1 rather than wife #3. That will save you more money than any amount of money a faster upgrade provides!!😀😀
