73 guy here. Previous comments are spot on. Flying is "back", and average line is around 40ish hours, but 300/year for math purposes is the way to go. I've flown 300h in 1.5 years, just as an example.
If you really, REALLY, want to do ACMI for the rest of your career, then apply. If brown/purple is the final goal, then again the previous comments are 100% right and regional is the way to go.
You can get hired at fedex with no heavy time but enough tpic, plenty of regional guys getting hired. But SIC heavy time and no TPIC won't get you hired in my opinion.
I got hired at 1500h, covid BS, my regional giving me the middle finger, etc....so for my it worked GREAT.
But if you have options, it all depends on your ultimate goal.
