I know at least a half dozen people personally who have submitted fake docs to their various airlines. I'm not sure, but my impression is that about 1/5 of the people "complying" are doing so with fake documents, esp. at United for some reason.
It seems to me that if an airman is caught falsifying documents like a vaccine card, they’d be taking a a huge risk of losing their medical/ATP. The rationale I’d imagine would be something along the lines of a demonstrated lack of judgment/good moral character, which I think was a conditional requirement for issuance.
