Those pilots will be filling jobs whether at LCCs/cargo/majors/regionals spots that may have gone to other regional pilots. It definitely would not be close to enough unless it was Skywest (which it wouldn’t be) to fill the jobs.
Looking at the number of pilots being hired by the majors, it is almost a certainty a number of the regionals will shut down. Lack of pilots. Just looking at reality. Rose colored glasses will not help.
