The "mandate" is not official unless it is put in writing. So far we have the ravings of a senile old man who has lost at least half of what little brain matter he had.
It has been speculated that it has not been put in writing, because if it were, it would be tested in court. No writing, no court case.
If it goes to court, I doubt it would hold up. He is trying to brow beat companies into enforcing an unconstitutional mandate.
There's one that died in March too. It wasn't as highly publicized but he was an in shape marathon runner and got Covid. The Covid caused blood clotting and resulted in a heart attack. I'm not sure why it wasn't as talked about but I know two pilots who were close friends who've both verified it. It was extremely tragic because he was in great shape and would've lived a long time. I don't think that he had a chance to vaccinate. That would mean that two had no chance to vaccinate and the last one did.
As for the rest... Whatever FedEx legal is doing is fine with me and goes beyond whatever you're listening to online. I'm fully vaccinated and my insurance didn't go up so if FedEx wants the current situation to continue with tons of guys out on uncharged sick leave then they've got the big picture in mind. I'm too busy right now to cover for the guys out though.
