Different world than 5 years ago. Much easier to get an interview these days. If you can't get a call from DL/UA/FDX/UPS, a few months at SWA will very likely trigger the interview at those places (especially Delta).
Agreed. TT for most new hires at the legacies now is around 3-6k. Big difference from when I was hire and it was 8-10k+.
Hopefully we can get all the people we need with minimal attrition. A new CBA would help offset the things we lack like aircraft variety, upgrade time, etc.
Most every CA I fly with tells me I’ll be in the left seat in less than 2 years if I want it. We’ll see….
