That said, are there any travel benefits once you age out and retire? Are you able to hop on any open AA/DL/UA metal for an international vacation, and if so, is it base/airframe dependent? You could easily get to a major/legacy in 2 years after flying at a regional, especially in the current market. I wouldn't plan on stopping anywhere until you get where you wanna retire.
