If you have 4 4 days you already have 14-15 days off, not 12-13. It has always been like this. 4 day trips have had either an early start or a late finish. During COVID commutability did increase because most of the early departure banks in the hubs were eliminated, however trips were less efficient as a whole.
If you want commutability, bid for 5 day trips.
This is accurate. Just looking at a bid pack from 2019 you would have a ton of one end commutable trips (for most commuters). 5-6 am report 7pm end or 10-11 am report with 9-10pm end. High credit 4 days might be the same but also might be uncommutable on both ends. 4 days used to be higher in credit as well which I think the reason we don't have pairings with credit that high is that they sent a decent amount of those legs out to other bases so we could staff it right now.
