Just to clarify, unless you are on the 767-400 or A330 (not available to new hires), Delta technically doesn't have a "JFK base." You will be covering all three NYC airports (LGA, JFK and EWR). The 757 used to do LGA but not sure right now, especially with terminal construction. As for the 220,.320 and 73N, the EWR flying ebbs and flows.
As for a few weekends off....in November it appears that new hires (mid-Oct 2021) on the 220 got a weekend or two off. And one got two weekends off to include Thanksgiving. That is some excellent initial PBS work complimented by a bit of luck.
