The thing is at Alaska, there are so many problems ranging from small simple everyday stuff to very serious issues that make your quality of life miserable at Alaska when compared to other airlines. These issues have been accumulating for a very long time and Alaska has done nothing do address them and now the pilot group has to decided whether to continue letting all this stuff pile up, reducing their QoL further or try and address them all or most of them with a company that's refusing to address them. I believe Alaska pilots are headed for a strike sometime in the very near future. This CEO and company has shown they're not at all interested in making it a company people want to work for. There's a reason one of the highest attrition rates in the industry are Alaska pilots first and second year.
