I can relate to this. I ended up 300 numbers senior to my first ever flight instructor. We have both been retired for a number of years now.

I wound up junior to a Flight Attendant I flew some trips with at USAirways. He got hired at CCAir, I got furloughed and flowed down to Mesa, Mesa bought CCAir and he wound up senior to me. Lesson is always be nice to your crew
