what’s the training like as in how many sims and are there FMS trainers, Flat panel trainers etc before going into sim and will they give you stuff to study before you arrive like flows, profiles etc?
Keep in mind you won't see your first per diem check until the end of the second month you are in training. Long training program with variable levels of organization. Plan to be here for at least 90 days. Lots of 1 day on, 3 days off, or 1 day on 6 days off or 1 on 1 off. After INDOC and a week of what they called general systems operations, they have SIT training for 5 sessions, Fixed Base for 6 sessions and then 10 full motion sessions including checkride. Then 8 sessions that have been taking 3-4 weeks to complete of mixed class and sim post checkride for differences etc. That is the footprint for the 747 at least.
