Might be fun to upgrade and try out some Hawaii flying and then, if the commute is a bigger pain in the butt than expected, downgrade and go back to living the senior life for another year or two.
Yeah, Vegas is one online leg with multiple flights a day between us and Allegiant. LAX has nonstops on AA, but that's too dicey for me between the commute and the hotel situation for sitting reserve.
I'll have to look at the contract, but I believe the lock is for the qual. You would be locked for 6 bids no matter what.
I don't have enough sick trips for a 6 month lock being stuck in OAK.
