My advice to newhires is to spend their time focusing on the impact/consequences of their own choices. You won't go wrong if you do this inside the contract and framework of unity.
Some of us make poor choices then blame others for our circumstances.
I tell the new people the same thing. Slow down and enjoy the ride because you’ll be at the tail end of your career in the blink of an eye. The things that I value now more than ever is all of the time that I spent at home, not the money that I could have made. It reminds me of the Trace Adkins song, “You’re Gonna Miss This”.
