For me, it's a work-life balance. About two years ago, I hit the "I've only got a few more years left on this Earth" point, and that affects how and what I bid.

Nothing is absolute, but
for the most part, I've found that reserve has been in my control for my entire career path. Others... maybe not. The few that have argued the point to me haven't been convincing so far. Though I'm sure plenty of folks here have a good perspective that I haven't considered yet.
