I failed the cog as well.
I got up and took a walk around the house between each section to clear my head. I wonder if that is something they see on camera, and could affect the outcome? I also went through each one of the "write down a clearance" recordings three times, which was the limit. I wonder if they take that into account as well, i.e. you get scored higher if you only listen to it once? I know for sure that I did awful on the "flying through the tunnel" exercise because the interface was very different than the CUT-E practice test I had signed up for. In retrospect I should have paid for the RST package. I felt I did well on everything else though, but who knows with the personality test.
How common is it to get called back in 6 months after failing the cog?
