I also went through each one of the "write down a clearance" recordings three times, which was the limit. I wonder if they take that into account as well, i.e. you get scored higher if you only listen to it once? I know for sure that I did awful on the "flying through the tunnel" exercise because the interface was very different than the CUT-E practice test I had signed up for. In retrospect I should have paid for the RST package. I felt I did well on everything else though, but who knows with the personality test.
How common is it to get called back in 6 months after failing the cog?
My camera wasn’t on between tests so I doubt that’s a problem. I also listened to each clearance three times so I don’t think that’s a problem either.
Don’t beat yourself up over RST vs CUT-E. I thought the CUT-E practice was just as useful as RST. The cog test is new so I’m not sure anyone has been around long enough to test the 6 month or 12 month reapply. Only 1 way to find out!
