This is exactly why Alaska lags behind in everything. Low self-esteem mixed with a dash of Stockholm Syndrome.
You're right. I'm sure NewGuy0101 and others throwing a pity party for FINALLY getting Christmas off after 3 years will spur the boots of management to sign us a new contract.

News flash. Roughly 50% of the pilot group will work over the holiday at ALL airlines. Name me an airline that guarantees the right of pilots with X seniority or X years of service to receive 4 days off over Christmas. Lets say we get the BEST work rules with the BEST PBS and surprise! the same number of pilots will be working the holidays. These complaints make us look unprofessional and childish.

Complaining about things that no reasonable contract will solve, or boxed water - generates more replies and emotion at this airline than things that actually matter.
