Is there anyway to check the average age of pilots in a base? Obviously that changes, but would give you a rough idea what a base will look like xx years down the road. Will ATL be trending junior as ex-AIr Tran guys come up on retirement? Will Denver captain become way senior like United was for a long time as guys sit there for 20+ years? Etc, etc. Any way to roughly predict the future look of bases - outside of PHX and MCO which would seem to be perpetually senior as the old folks prep for their life post-SWA.
you can call your rep or the rep of the base you're looking at. They have the numbers. I did this when hired and was going to move to a base. Good info as they might also have the info for what will happen to the bases in near time and maybe 5 yrs out. It's a major reason why I'm in the base I am.
