"asked to resign" means FIRED. You will need to correct that...I would send a letter to the company.
If you had valid reasons for resigning (ie personal, family, medical) and have resolved those issues, then another airline should be OK with that. Be prepared to explain it well.
If you just got sick of working for a regional, or had problems with management... then you probably need to come up with a better story. Make sure that you cannot get caught in a lie...they will contact your previous employer.
Exception: If you worked for mesa, got sick of it and quit, you can assume most other employers will understand that.
