Lots of other great gigs hiring right now, maybe a domicile/commute/big plane/cargo vs pax/intl motivates a change. I know 1221 SWA folks got a warm holiday greeting last year that might be motivated too look elsewhere for other reasons as well. There's might be some with long term company leadership concerns as well, as server brownouts, polar vortexs, frozen fuel barges, and absentism is often to blame for operational problems....very little ownership by the princes and kings in the SWA Kingdom.
We'll all know if we made the right decisions after it's all over, not a moment sooner if past aviation career history can be applied to the next 25 year span
