This company grows by seat count. Replacing say, an A319 with 119 seats with a Max 8 with ~160 (? I don't actually know how many seats are on that thing) seats counts as growth but doesn't add any additional crew. Also, unless this company specifically says "mainline Alaska Airlines" they mean the Air Group as a whole, which includes Horizon and Skywest. And both of those companies have dramatically increased their flying for us over the last several years, which also counts as "growth" in the eyes of our management.
