Having a type rating on the airplane has no bearing on aircraft assignment or base.
However, having prior 121 time does help in class seniority which makes you have a better chance of your choice.
The type rating is, I think worth an extra $7.5K bonus.
MIA has been available to some new hires classes and if not offered for some reason at new hire can probably get in first bid. The big IF is whether or not you can get the 175 in class. Look at previous class drop threads about this.
If you don’t get the 175 as a new hire, you are stuck on the 145 until upgrade, which means no MIA.
ENY doesn’t allow FOs to bid off the plane as an FO. Only way out is up or displacement.
