He was one of the ones who got kicked in day 1. Was not showing up the reason he wasn’t hired? Well of course not, but maybe his attitude behind not wanting to meet up spilled over into his performance. Maybe he was super nervous and trying to cram every last second of studying in, maybe he was anti-social, maybe he was cocky and over-confident, who knows. And there was another guy who was just sweating bullets while we were waiting to into the interview office first thing in the morning. He was a nervous wreck, and I’m sure that affected his performance.

All I’m saying is that in some cases when you find out a certain person was cut you can think back and see the possible red flags showing they might not do well.
