I’ve done quite a bit research into UPS. I’ve talked to a few pilots and read the threads here too. The lifestyle does seem to be draining and not what I see myself doing. The compensation is too large to ignore though, but I don’t have expensive tastes either. I do like the obvious advantages of boxes vs px.
AA stays in the running just because of CLT, and the old saying to always live in base, and I agree with that, but I’ve got a ticket with both UA and UPS now. This is indeed a good problem to have.
