Yup. It applies to what we call EDW trips. Which are basically night sort flights and it’s 19:15 prior to departure or it’s a 3 hr pay hit.
on the plus side those trips are all or almost all paid on rig so you are getting paid to commercial to work and layover. Also you can cut 24hrs or more off the end of your trip by commercialling home right after your trip instead of laying over.
Okay, well that’s not as bad as what Armyguy makes it sound like.
