I did mess up as I was not in compliance with the FOM. My application explanation states that verbatim as well.
I also took the time to contact several co workers and tell them if your medical is cut it’s not valid and you will bust for it. Get it fixed before you end up like me. I can think of 2 people off the top of my head who needed new medicals.
I learned greatly. It sure as hell won’t happen again. Do I take extra caution with just about everything I do now? Absolutely!
Yet, do I think it should make me unhireable? No I don’t.
Again, sorry for coming off a certain way. It’s just I know how important it is to get out of regionals real soon if there is to be any long term seniority down the road. Frustrations mount and can get overwhelming at times.
With the FOM?
Not just the FOM. You were not in compliance with the FARs.
I would also reconsider the story about getting an ACARS mid line-check about a medical issue to RTG. That just did not happen. No-one reviews that stuff real time. You are leaving something out of the story, and that is a huge red flag for anyone.
