FedEx guy here so pardon me but can you translate delta into FedEx and explain advanced entitlements and PWA? I’m going to guess the latter is what translates into FedEx as the contract or the CBA, collective bargaining agreement.
AE is when the company post open positions and the pilots bid on them in seniority order. The standard is the company has 210 days after the AE closes to convert pilots to their new category, but they can do a 365 day window once per calendar year.
PWA = Pilot Working Agreement…our contract.
