it would in fact not be a raise but actually less money by a lot. This has nothing to do with my current airline and everything to do with the fact that I see it as an insult to offer to pay someone that little money to go through a training program and expect them to bust their tail acquiring the knowledge needed to operate safely for your company. I’m just surprised people are continuing to agree to do it. I’d rather stay at the regional and keep trying for an actual major than do that. I wonder when they will run out of well qualified good pilots who think like I do.
