while I agree, it is also true many UNAs are not seat locked. We all got a chance to bid for what we wanted with no seat lock in March and many I know are still on the plane they were brought back on. Maybe my sample size is not representative of the group as a whole, but I don’t think it’s gonna happen (NH to 330)
I do think 765 is believable though.
another X factor is how much liberty does the company have when releasing people from seat locks? If their are unfilled 330 slots, can the CO only let 320 pilots break their seat lock or if the let people break the lock is it an all or nothing. Looking at the PWA it seems like the company may have the discretion to let people break their seat locks on a fleet by fleet basis (only let 320 pilots break their lock to go to 330, same with ER/765) which may encourage them to do so.
