The weak link isn’t the routes. It’s staffing. If and when it costs the same to put a regional pilot in the cockpit as a mainline one, the regional plantation for pilots will go away. I agree with you on one front though, SKYW will always be there.
Well, for Skywest to remain, they need to be flying those mainline passengers from smaller locations, AKA regional airline.
