Nah, this isn't a "lets play the violin thread here". However, ever think about changes in this industry in order to help us all? IDK, am I one of the few pilots thinking log book entries is more of a personal item? Should this be used for the mainstream competition with each other? Shouldn't it be "hey, what did you learn when you were flying for XYZ? What did you learn at ABC? Ever seen St.Elmo's fire? Ever felt like kissing the ground after getting out of an airplane?" Should the log book number tracking end after training is complete? Should we but nearly as much emphasis on personal logbook entries? Granted, I can drive a car in a parking lot for years and know nothing about driving. IDK, does logging time really deserve this much attention or does the FAA need something to do cracking that whip on flight experience or lessons learned absorbed but not required? "Look guys and gals, only one of you can get credit for flight knowledge learned and experienced! So, all the SIC time you have been logging has to be erased."

What else could be a good change out there for us highly competitive pilots? How would you like to have it?
