The concept of junior base at Spirit is probably different Than what you are imagining. FLL is most junior, and also the biggest. Of the 300+ FOs there, I would estimate the top 75 could upgrade tomorrow if they chose, and next 50 are 3-4 years with the company. Just because you go to a junior base doesn’t mean you go to the top of the heap.
DFW is on average more senior than FLL, but that doesn’t mean just because you can hold a line sooner in FLL that you will be the first pig at the trough when it comes to bids and drops. You are as likely to get stuck with holidays, Super Bowl, or just weekends in general there as a junior line holder.
