The logic doesn't wash. They lost out on another potential ~1.5 years* of use out of me because they didn't want to decrease my flow time by ~.5 years*.

* Insert various metrics for different people but the point is the same. I know people that had less than 6 months to flow, turned down the $180k and jumped ship. So, in reality it's reduce dwell time ~XXX% or lose the person 100%.
