One big question to me is how you’re going to staff the LCA positions. A great deal of regional LCA’s apply as a resume booster, but at 4.5 years, and two years as CA there’s barely enough time to become one even if you’d want to.
And with the flow that quick there’s little reason to even bother.
Not to mention the +$20/hour pay override is not very encouraging for all the extra work. They were practically begging my upgrade class to apply for LCA positions as soon as we were FAA qualified to do so…
