One big question to me is how you’re going to staff the LCA positions. A great deal of regional LCA’s apply as a resume booster, but at 4.5 years, and two years as CA there’s barely enough time to become one even if you’d want to.
And with the flow that quick there’s little reason to even bother.
Yea that's going to be an issue. Right now they're ok because there's a wave of captains who realized they're going to wait an extra 1-2 years and flow. So they're applying to do this while they wait. But they're already talking about raising the pay rate for it.
