I haven't heard of anyone waiting 6 weeks. 1 week is guaranteed off between indoc and the start of your training. I'd venture that most people are starting 1-3 weeks after indoc. Maybe a handful more than that but that starts to become very inefficient for the company if people are routinely waiting that long.
