Can someone enlighten me on why 777/787 may be desirable/undesirable for a new hire. Are these slots going unfilled because people are jumping fleet types to upgrade to captain or is life as an FO on 777/787 not so great?
Same pay rate first year. Bad reserve rules. Longer reserve times. High cost of living areas (in which you’d be on reserve). Better seniority movements and associates better schedules on other fleets.
