The problem with going unqual, either by not getting an extension, or after exceeding the extension, is that the requalification event IS a jeopardy event/check ride. It contains a couple training sims and then an MV (non-jeopardy) and an LOE (jeopardy).
The other problem is that you are facing another jeopardy sim after a loooooong time away from IQ in an airplane you've never flown before. The short requal course seems designed for someone with previous experience in the actual airplane, NOT someone who has never consolidated.
