Just an FYI. In that scenario, you would have your remaining new hire seatlock added on to the end of the 2 year seat lock you would incur bidding over to the bus. With the proper (or improper) timing, that could leave you with a 3+ year seat lock on the bus. That being said, I'd highly recommend you bid a fleet that is already in SEA. The bus will likely be there in the near future if you really want it.
I don’t think this is true
if you break your NH seat lock to move to an existing category to change bases or take first upgrade this would apply, but I don’t think this applies to a new category opening
