I thought that going into a hard day off (IVD, APD, etc) you were automatically put into rest at noon. Since it's contractual and a known rest situation they don't ever notify you. Last month on reserve I would always get a CNO notification on my last on call day before a regular X day, but before a golden day I never got a notification even though rest was still put on there.
