The bigger issue has been when the Company puts rest on your schedule but doesn't notify you by phone and it occurs after you are required to check your schedule. Can't just slip it on the sked and not tell the pilot.
I LOVE when that happens....telling the scheduler that I won't be flying the rotation or sitting the SC because I didn't receive proper notification or rest gives me a special feeling in the cockles of my heart...maybe below the cockles...maybe in the sub cockle area.
