The whole thing is so silly though. It only helps the regional one time at the beginning of a wave, yet shaves off 3 months of "first year pay" for all the flows forever. Maybe we should just contractually reduce first year pay to 9 months for everyone.
I have no problem with the withhold thing, although I agree it is kinda pointless in its current form. It makes sense for certain positions (LCA, sim instructors) but just all pilots…not sure it’s helping.
From what I was told, flows bid their aircraft separately from the rest of their class, so drops posted here do not include them because they bid their aircraft at a different time.
