Lots of trips start late morning and end early evening. Last flight to BNA is generally pretty late.
I still wish they would build entire lines of PM turn AMs. 15 or 20% of the lines in domicile should be built like that to accommodate for commuters. Maybe more in domiciles where there are typically more commuters. Even if a pilot doesn’t commute today, in all likelihood he/she will commute at some point in their career.
No other major airline operates with pure AM/PM lines. Which can be both a benefit and at times a curse.
